Description
Accordion-style pork served with mushroom potatoes.
Ingredients
- Cheese Spread - 7.1 oz
- Pork Blood - 17.6 oz
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Salt - to taste
- Potato - 5 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the cheese into pieces 3–4 mm thick. Cut the tomatoes into rounds. Slice the garlic.
Step 2
Make incisions in the piece of pork (not cutting all the way through) with about 1 cm spacing between them. Season the pork with salt and pepper (including in the incisions). Place a slice of cheese, a slice of tomato, and garlic into the incisions.
Step 3
Wrap the pork in foil, place it on a baking sheet, and put it in the oven. Roast at 356°F for 1 hour.
Step 4
For the mushrooms, it is best to take small potatoes, wash them thoroughly, and dry them. Make a deep circular cut approximately halfway around the potato. One part with the skin will be the cap, while the other part should be shaped with a knife to form the stem—cutting away all the excess.
Step 5
Brush the mushrooms with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt. For added effect, you can coat the stems in some dried herbs (like khmeli-suneli or Italian herbs) and bake them in the oven.
