Description

- Pistachios - 3.5 oz
- Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 1 head
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cumin - 1 tablespoon
- Cilantro - 1 bunch
- Spiced Tomato Juice - 1 can
- Courgette - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Pita - 8 pieces
- Iceberg Lettuce - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven. Toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet, stirring. When they darken slightly, transfer to a bowl and set aside.
Step 2
Pour olive oil into the skillet and heat over low heat. Chop the onion and sauté for 3 minutes until softened. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Add cumin, black pepper, and tomatoes with their juice, mix everything, and let it simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Wash, dry, and finely chop the cilantro. Slice the cucumber. Wash, dry, and chop the lettuce. Arrange the salad and cucumber on plates, and place the pitas in the oven.
Step 4
When the meat is ready, add the cilantro and pine nuts, heat for two minutes, and transfer to a serving bowl. Serve warm pitas wrapped in a napkin in a basket to keep them warm.
