Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers - 3 pieces
- Asparagus - 8.8 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 7 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Wheat Flour - 1.8 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Milk - 1 fl oz
- Green Butter - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the sweet bell peppers into rings and cut the asparagus into sticks.
Step 2
To prepare the batter, whisk the egg whites with flour and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a pot or use a deep fryer. Dip the vegetables in the batter and fry in the oil for 1-2 minutes. Place on a parchment-lined sheet to remove excess oil.
Step 4
Remove the seeds from the sweet bell peppers and cut them into strips.
Step 5
Chop the onion. Sauté it with the peppers in vegetable oil and blend with red wine and salt.
Step 6
Place the battered vegetables on the lettuce leaves and drizzle with the sauce.
