Ingredients
- Carp - 2 lbs
- Anchovy fillet - 6 pieces
- Bacon - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Red Long Chili Peppers - 1 piece
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1.8 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Cream - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the carp into fillets with skin, removing the bones, and slice into portion-sized pieces.
Step 2
Make a cut in each piece about 1–1.5 cm apart and insert the anchovy fillets. Season the fish with salt and pepper to taste, fry in hot fat, and place on a serving dish.
Step 3
Finely chop the bacon, fry it, then add the finely chopped and lightly sautéed onion, pepper, and tomato paste, pour in the cream, and bring everything to a boil.
Step 4
Pour the prepared sauce over the fish and simmer in the oven at moderate temperature for about 50 minutes.
