Ingredients
- Garlic - ½ clove
- Coarse Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Natural Yogurt - 8.5 oz
- Gherkins - 3 pieces
- Chopped chives - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 0.7 oz
- Sweet Paprika - 1 tablespoon
- Wine Vinegar - 1½ teaspoons
- Hot paprika - ¼ teaspoon
- Rye Bread - to taste
- Red Onion - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Crush the garlic with ½ teaspoon of salt in a mortar until it forms a paste. Using an electric mixer, beat the butter in a medium bowl until smooth.
Step 2
Add the garlic mixture and the other 6 ingredients, and mix well. Add salt or vinegar to taste. Let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour. Stir before serving.
Step 3
Serve with rye toasts and pickled red onion.
