Description

Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 10 fl oz
- Anchovy fillet - 12 pieces
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour olive oil into a skillet, add garlic and anchovies. Keep on low heat, stirring constantly.
Step 2
Add 2/3 of the butter (cut into cubes) while whisking. When the butter melts, remove from heat. Add a few more pieces of butter and whisk until everything in the skillet becomes a homogeneous mass.
Step 3
Taste. To soften the flavor, add the remaining butter while whisking (optional).
Step 4
Transfer to a dish and place on a burner to keep the sauce warm.
