Description
Remember that there is no definitive recipe for baharat. Every country makes it differently, so feel free to experiment. I prefer spicier notes, so I add chili along with cayenne pepper.

- Ground Black Pepper - 4 teaspoons
- Paprika - 6 teaspoons
- Cayenne Pepper - 2 teaspoons
- Spices - 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cumin - ½ teaspoon
- Cardamom - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
- Nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
- Ground clove - ½ teaspoon

Prepare all the ingredients.

Grind all the ingredients together. (Ideally, you should grind all the spices yourself for maximum aroma, but the process of grinding in a mortar can be quite labor-intensive and time-consuming; however, your efforts will be rewarded with the wonderful aroma of baharat.)
