Description
You can use all three types of fish at once or choose just one that you prefer.
Ingredients
- Fish - 2 lbs
- Milk - 4 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 4 tablespoons
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Parsley - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse and clean the fish. Cut the fish along the backbone and slice into medium-sized pieces across.
Step 2
Lightly salt the milk in a deep bowl, mix well until the salt dissolves, and place the fish pieces in for about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the fish from the milk and coat in flour (you can substitute the flour with breadcrumbs if desired), then place the fish pieces skin side up in a greased pan.
Step 4
Melt the butter and drizzle it over the fish. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 356°F. Bake the fish for about 10–12 minutes.
Step 5
Transfer the fish to a serving platter, drizzle with the melted butter from cooking, and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley. Boiled potatoes or creamy mashed potatoes and a vegetable salad make an ideal side dish.
