Baked Jalapeño Mussels with Tomatoes and Garlic
Ingredients
- Pasta shells - 20 pieces
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- TABASCO® - 0 fl oz
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Fresh basil leaves - a pinch
- Salt - to taste
- Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the mussels in their shells under cold water, dry them on a towel, and arrange them on a baking sheet side by side. Frozen mussels should be thawed beforehand.
Step 2
Slice the tomatoes into thin rounds and the garlic into petals, according to the number of mussels. Place a tomato slice, a garlic petal, a drop of green Tabasco sauce, and a small piece of butter on top of each mussel. Sprinkle with dried basil, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Bake in the upper third of the oven for 20–25 minutes at a temperature of 392°F.
