- Butter - 4 spoons
- Fettuccine Pasta - 12 oz
- Wheat Flour - ¼ glasses
- English Dry Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Milk - 2 glasses
- Cream 22% - 1 glass
- Frozen green bean pods - 1½ glasses
- Cheshire Cheese - 12 oz
- Crackers - 1½ glasses
- Ham - 3 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain.
Step 3
Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the flour, mustard, and 0.5 teaspoons of salt. Gradually pour in the milk and cream while stirring slowly, and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the cheese in portions, allowing it to melt completely, then remove from heat. Stir in the pasta, diced ham, and peas. Mix well.
Step 4
Spread evenly and sprinkle with crushed crackers on top. Dot with remaining butter and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
