Description
Baked Peppers with Turkey Mince and Quail Eggs
Ingredients
- Pork Mince - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Orange Bell Peppers - 4 pieces
- Quail Egg - 8 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Garlic - 2 cloves
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion.
Step 2
Combine the onion and turkey mince.
Step 3
Add salt.
Step 4
Add pepper.
Step 5
Add minced garlic.
Step 6
Thoroughly mix the mince until homogeneous.
Step 7
Wash the large meaty red bell peppers, cut them in half lengthwise, and remove the seeds.
Step 8
Fill the pepper halves with the mince two-thirds full, creating a small indentation in the center. Place in the oven to bake at 356°F for 30 minutes.
Step 9
Remove the peppers from the oven — they should be soft, and the mince nearly cooked. Carefully crack a quail egg into the center of each pepper half. Return to the oven for 5–7 minutes to bake the egg.
Step 10
Serve, garnished with parsley sprigs.
