Description

This recipe is so simple that it hardly requires any comments. Moreover, among all serious types of meat, Russian pork is the only one that consistently has great quality.

Ingredients

  • Pork Blood - 1½ kg
  • Garlic - 6 heads
  • Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
  • Thyme - 0.7 oz
  • Bay leaf - 8 pieces
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mix olive oil with pepper and salt, then rub this mixture all over the ham. After that, tie the ham like a package with kitchen twine, tucking sprigs of thyme and bay leaves under the twine.

Step 2

Place the ham on a baking sheet along with the heads of garlic and put it in the oven preheated to 392°F for one hour and twenty minutes. Serve the roasted garlic as a side dish. You can also prepare a sauce by mixing olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, crushed garlic, and salt.
