Ingredients
- Potatoes - 2 lbs
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Garlic - 1½ cloves
- 40% Cream - 19 fl oz
- Chopped Parsley - 0.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly with a knife or a mandoline.
Step 2
Do not rinse with water. Pour a little oil into a large skillet, heat it, and add the potatoes.
Step 3
Toss the potatoes with the oil, then add the garlic, salt, and mix again.
Step 4
Add the cream (enough to cover all the potatoes) and simmer for 6-8 minutes over medium heat until they stick together.
Step 5
Add the parsley, season with salt, and mix.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture to a large baking sheet and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Step 7
Check for doneness with a knife — it should go in easily. Serve.
