Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 5 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Tomatoes - 8.8 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 17.6 oz
- Long-Grain Rice - 17.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the garlic. Peel the tomatoes and chop them as well. Slice the potatoes. Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a large ovenproof pot with thick walls and bottom, add the garlic and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and sauté for another 8 minutes. Then add the potatoes – season with salt, add the rice and 1.2 liters of water. Bring to a boil, then cover with a lid and place in the oven.
Step 3
Bake for 20 minutes, until the rice has absorbed all the liquid and is slightly browned. Serve immediately in the same dish.
