Ingredients
- Young Potatoes - 2 lbs
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the young potatoes with a brush. Cut the tubers in half, place them in a pot of boiling salted water, and boil until semi-cooked, about 10 minutes. Drain the water and dry the potatoes.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Place the potatoes in a baking dish. Crush the garlic and add it to the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Cut the butter into small pieces and distribute it over the potatoes.
Step 3
Put the dish in the oven and bake for 40 minutes, until golden brown. During baking, gently stir the potatoes 2–3 times. Transfer the finished potatoes to a serving dish and sprinkle with dill before serving.
