Balinese Chicken Sate with Rice and Pineapple

Ingredients

  • Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 14.1 oz
  • Amba Sauce - 3.5 oz
  • Rice - 7.1 oz
  • Pineapple - 3.5 oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Sambal Oelek Paste - 2 teaspoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Prepare the sauce for the chicken. To do this, mix the nut sauce with sambal oelek. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Wash the chicken breast and cut it into pieces for sate (skewers) and marinate in the sauce for 20–30 minutes if possible.

Step 3

Thread the pieces of chicken onto wooden skewers and place them in the oven on the grill at 356°F. Cook for 10–15 minutes on each side.

Step 4

For the side dish, cook the rice and add the pieces of pineapple.
