Ingredients
- Chicken gizzards - 17.6 oz
- Pearl barley - 7.1 oz
- Onion - 5.3 oz
- Carrot - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Spices - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse well and separate the fat from the gizzards, soak in regular water for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Chop the carrot and onion in any convenient way (it doesn't matter) and place them in the slow cooker bowl. Sauté until golden brown in baking mode (10-15 minutes).
Step 3
Mix the gizzards and pearl barley and add to the sautéed vegetables. Stir well, season with salt, and add spices to your taste.
Step 4
