- Onion - 2 heads
- Carrot - 17.6 oz
- Fat - 5.3 oz
- Pearl barley - 10.6 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the barley groats first with warm water, then with hot water.
Step 2
Bring 800 ml of water to a boil, add salt, pour in the groats, and cook for 3 minutes on high power.
Step 3
Rinse the meat and cut it into small pieces.
Step 4
Peel, wash, and chop the onion, then heat it with the fat for 2 minutes on high power.
Step 5
Add the meat to the onion, season with salt, and fry for 5 minutes on high power.
Step 6
Then add the carrot, heat for 3 minutes, pour in 150 ml of water, and simmer for 7 minutes on high power.
Step 7
Add the cooked porridge to the pot with the vegetables and meat, season with pepper, stir, cover with a lid, and heat for 1–2 minutes.
