Rinse the barley groats in warm water, then add to 500 ml of salted water and cook on high heat for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Then reduce the heat to medium and cook for another 10 minutes.
Step 3
Stir the porridge several times during cooking.
Step 4
Peel the onion, wash it, slice it into half-rings, sauté in heated vegetable oil, and mix with the porridge.
