- Rabbit - 10.6 oz
- Pearl barley - 10.6 oz
- Turnips - 7.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Onion - 2 heads
- Chicken Broth - 13 fl oz
- Cilantro - 1 bunch
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the carrots, peel them, and cut into strips.
Step 2
Peel the onion, wash it, and cut into half rings.
Step 3
Wash the turnip, peel it, and cut into slices.
Step 4
Wash the cilantro, chop it finely, leaving a few sprigs for garnish.
Step 5
Rinse the meat and cut it into small pieces.
Step 6
Fry the onion until golden in a deep skillet with heated vegetable oil, then add the meat, carrots, turnip, a little broth, salt, and pepper, and simmer for 7 minutes.
Step 7
Add the barley groats, pour in the remaining broth, bring to a boil, and cook over medium heat until done.
Step 8
Place the finished porridge in a mound on a plate.
Step 9
Sprinkle with herbs on top and garnish with sprigs of cilantro.
