- Basmati rice - 12.3 oz
- Bacon - 3.5 oz
- Tiger shrimp in brine - 0.7 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Scallions - 1.8 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Cream - 6 tablespoons
- Chives - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice, add it to boiling salted water, cook until done, and drain in a colander.
Step 2
Wash the onion and chop it coarsely.
Step 3
Cut the bacon into strips.
Step 4
Peel, wash, and slice the garlic thinly.
Step 5
In a skillet, heat the olive oil, add the green onion, bacon, and garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes, then add the sour cream or cream, reduce the heat, and stir.
Step 6
Add the peeled shrimp, 2 tablespoons of water to the skillet, and simmer for a few minutes until the shrimp turn opaque.
Step 7
Add the rice to the same skillet, mix, and cook for another minute.
Step 8
Before serving, garnish the finished dish with chives.
