Ingredients
- Pickled Cauliflower - 3 pieces
- Smoked Ham on the Bone - 14.1 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Chinese green beans - 14.1 oz
- Spanish onions - 1 piece
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Vinegar essence - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 3 fl oz
- Mayonnaise - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, slice the onion into thin half-rings, then cut them in half again to make quarters. If the onion is large, half will be enough.
Step 2
Prepare the marinade for the onion: mix sugar, vinegar, salt, and water. Pour the marinade over the onion and let it sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Ensure the onion is completely covered with the liquid (a small deep bowl can be used).
Step 3
While the onion is marinating, boil the green beans. Add them to boiling salted water for 10–12 minutes, then transfer to cold water to stop the cooking and keep the beans crisp.
Step 4
Slice the cucumbers and ham into thin strips, roughly the size of the beans.
Step 5
Crack the eggs, beat them, and mix with the soy sauce. Fry pancakes from the mixture in a dry, well-heated pan.
Step 6
Cut the resulting pancakes into strips to match the size of the other ingredients. Mix with the cucumbers and ham.
Step 7
Drain the onion well from the marinade. Add it to the other ingredients, and also add the beans. Cut very long pods into 2–3 pieces.
Step 8
Dress with mayonnaise to taste.
