- Carrot - 3.5 oz
- White Beans - 12.3 oz
- Onion - to taste
- Parsley - to taste
- Basil - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Red Long Chili Peppers - 14.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 17.6 oz
- Garlic - 4 cloves

Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pre-soaked beans should be boiled in a multicooker on the 'Beans' setting for 40 minutes or in a pot over low heat for 1–1.5 hours. You can also use canned beans for this recipe. You should end up with 850 grams of cooked beans.
Step 2
While the beans are cooking, chop and sauté the onion. For those who do not like onion, it can be omitted from the recipe.
Step 3
Grate the carrot on a coarse grater or cut it into strips. Dice the tomatoes and finely slice the peppers.
Step 4
Pour a little oil into a frying pan and sauté the vegetables for just 5–10 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the vegetables from the pan. Sauté the meat in the same oil. Any lean meat or minced meat can be used for this recipe. If using meat, it can be boiled or sautéed.
Step 6
Once the meat is cooked, add the vegetables, the boiled beans, and mix well.
Step 7
Add finely chopped herbs, salt, and pepper to taste.
Step 8
Cover with a lid and let it simmer and absorb the juices for another 3–5 minutes on low heat.
