Béchamel Sauce for Ravioli

Ingredients

  • Salt - to taste
  • Gruyère cheese - 1.8 oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Milk - 17 fl oz
  • Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Butter - 1.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Melt half of the butter with the olive oil in a saucepan. Stir in the flour and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Gradually add the milk while continuing to stir. Season with salt and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste and mix well.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 392°F. Place the ravioli in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them. Sprinkle with grated cheese and pieces of butter. Bake for 20-30 minutes until the cheese melts and turns into a delicious crust.
