Beef Bolognese Spaghetti
Ingredients
- Boiled Veal - 2 lbs
- Spaghetti - 17.6 oz
- Gruyère cheese - 7.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Butter - 1.4 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Campbell's Beef Broth - 7 fl oz
- Thyme - 2 sprigs
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 10.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel and chop the onion.
Step 2
Peel the carrots and dice them finely. Sauté with the onion in a pan with olive oil over medium heat for 6–8 minutes.
Step 3
Add the ground veal and sauté everything together over high heat for another 6–8 minutes.
Step 4
Add the passata to the meat. Season with salt and pepper, and add the sprigs of thyme. Cook for another 30 minutes over medium heat.
Step 5
At the end of cooking, boil the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling water. Drain and place the spaghetti in a deep bowl. Add the butter and mix well.
Step 6
Serve the spaghetti in deep plates. Serve immediately topped with the veal sauce and sprinkle with grated Gruyère cheese.
