Description
Burgers are a popular and highly appealing dish. When made at home with natural ingredients, they become a true culinary masterpiece. For juicy patties, it's best to grind the meat from different cuts of beef, and instead of the popular brioche bun, we recommend using ciabatta — in our opinion, it's perfect. Other than that, the recipe is simple: it includes just meat, tomatoes, pickles, and romaine lettuce, with a sauce made of Dijon mustard and mayonnaise, which, by the way, is easy to make at home. This dish can be served with a side of fries or on its own without any garnish.

- Beef chuck roast - 14.1 oz
- Beef Shank - 14.1 oz
- Beef Cheeks - 14.1 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - to taste
- Pickled Cauliflower - 7.1 oz
- Baking Tomatoes - 14.1 oz
- Ciabatta - 4 pieces
- Romaine lettuce - 1 piece
- Sugar - to taste
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
- Champagne Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Dijon Mustard - 8 teaspoons
- Mayonnaise - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut all the meat into small cubes, season with salt, and let it sit at room temperature for an hour. Then grind it using a meat grinder, making sure that the strips of minced meat lay on the film in layers without mixing. Add pepper, carefully roll the film with the meat to form a sausage shape, and place it in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
Step 2
Slice the meat sausage into patties about 2.5 cm thick. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the patties for about a minute on each side; they will appear cooked on the outside but remain raw inside. Then transfer them to a baking sheet and place in an oven preheated to 356°F for about five to seven minutes.
Step 3
In olive oil, sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic until soft, add the tomatoes, and simmer for five to seven minutes. Then season with salt and pepper, pour in the wine vinegar, sprinkle with sugar, and stir.
Step 4
Spread the warmed pieces of bread with the prepared sauce, place on top some shredded lettuce, a few slices of pickled cucumber, mayonnaise (which can be homemade), and mustard, then add the patty on top. Cover with the other half of the bun, also spread with sauces.
