Ingredients
- Beef - 17.6 oz
- Salt - 2 spoons
- Onion - 3 heads
- Vegetable Oil - 4 spoons
- Tomatoes - 4 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pass the beef through a meat grinder, add one and a half teaspoons of salt and pepper to taste, mix thoroughly, and shape the mixture into small sausages about 5 cm long and approximately 2.5 cm in diameter. (You should end up with 28-30 pieces.)
Step 2
Brush the beef sausages with vegetable oil and grill them on a barbecue or grill rack. Cooking time is 5-8 minutes.
Step 3
While the meat is cooking, slice the onion into rings and the tomatoes into rounds, then sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Next, finely chop 3 cloves of garlic and sauté them in vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes. In the same pan, along with the garlic, sauté the sliced red bell pepper for 4-5 minutes.
Step 4
Arrange the cooked cevapi on plates (about 7-8 pieces per serving) and serve with fried bell peppers, tomatoes, and onions.
