Ingredients
- Beef hoof - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Mayonnaise - 5.3 oz
- 9% Vinegar - 3 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 1 cup
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Allspice berries - 5 pieces

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Rinse the beef heart thoroughly under running water. Place it in a pot, cover with water, put the pot on the heat, bring to a boil, and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Step 3
Drain the water, rinse the heart under running water, place it back in the pot, cover with water, and put the pot on the heat to bring to a boil.
Step 4
Add 5 allspice berries and 1 bay leaf to the pot, season with salt to taste, and cook the heart until tender for about 40 minutes. Remove from the broth and let cool.
Step 5
Peel the onion, rinse well, slice into strips or half-rings, and place in a separate container.

Add salt, vinegar, and water to the sliced onion in the container. Mix well.
Step 7
Let the onion marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 8
Remove excess fat and any unwanted parts from the heart. Slice it into thin strips.
Step 9
Drain the pickled onion in a colander and gently squeeze out excess liquid.
Step 10
Combine the onion with the sliced heart. Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste, and add mayonnaise.

Mix all the ingredients, let it sit for about 1 hour. Serve chilled.
