Ingredients
- Onion - 1 head
- Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Ketchup - 2 spoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Herbes de Provence - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Breadcrumbs - 2.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 spoons
- Vegetable Oil - 2 spoons
- Chicken Broth - 17 fl oz
- Tomato Puree - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the minced meat, finely chopped onion, garlic, ketchup, herbs, lightly beaten egg, and breadcrumbs into a bowl. Mix well with your hands.
Step 2
Divide the meat into 8 portions and shape them into patties.
Step 3
Heat the oil in a skillet and add the patties. Fry for 1 minute on each side. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for another 2 minutes on each side. Transfer to a paper towel and keep warm.
Step 4
For the sauce, blend the broth, flour, and tomato puree together. Pour it into the pan used for the patties and heat over medium heat for 3 minutes until it comes to a boil and thickens. Strain the sauce and add parsley. Drizzle it over the patties.
