Description
Beef Pilaf with Cabbage
Ingredients
- Meat - 17.6 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Bouillon cube - 3 pieces
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Rice - 1 cup
- White Cabbage - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the minced meat from any meat, preferably beef mixed with pork.
Step 2
Place it in a deep frying pan, previously melted with butter or margarine. Add grated carrots, chopped onions, and pour in the broth (can be from cubes) mixed with tomato paste.
Step 3
Slightly fry, then add the chopped cabbage and pre-cooked or soaked rice that has been soaked in warm water for half an hour.
Step 4
Add more broth or hot boiled water to the pan, so that the liquid level is 2 cm above the mixture, cover with a lid, and simmer on low heat until cooked.
Step 5
You can add water as needed to prevent the dish from becoming dry.
Step 6
Salt all ingredients separately — do not mix the layers during cooking. Serve on the table, sprinkled with parsley and onion greens, and black ground pepper.
Step 7
Offer a sauce separately — mayonnaise mixed half with ketchup and seasoned with garlic.
