Description
You can substitute olives with green olives.
Ingredients
- Onion - 4.2 oz
- Campbell's Beef Broth - 1 cup
- Veal Tenderloin - 24.7 oz
- Pitted olives - 3.5 oz
- Port Wine - ½ cup
- Stilton Cheese - 1.1 oz
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - ½ teaspoon
- Ground ancho chili pepper - 0.1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add 0.5 cup of finely chopped onion and sauté, stirring, for 2 minutes. Then pour in the broth and wine, bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, until the sauce reduces to 0.5 cup, about 20 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, cut the meat into 4 steaks. Season with salt, pepper, and ground chipotle pepper. Preheat the grill and cook the meat on both sides to your desired doneness.
Step 3
Remove the sauce from heat and add the thinly sliced olives, crumbled cheese, and thyme. Stir until the cheese is melted.
Step 4
Place the meat on plates and drizzle with the sauce.
