Ingredients
- Beef - 15.9 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 31.7 oz
- Pickles - 3 pieces
- Onion - 2 heads
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 3.5 oz
- Water - 1 cup
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - ½ liter
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the beef, dry it, cut it into small strips, coat in 1 tablespoon of flour, and fry in a pan with vegetable oil.
Step 2
Add the onion, sliced into thin half-rings, and sauté the meat with the onion until the onion is soft.
Step 3
Add the tomato paste and finely chopped pickles. Pour in the water and simmer covered until the meat is fully cooked.
Step 4
Peel the potatoes, dry them, cut them into strips (you can also cube them if desired), and fry in hot oil (as shown in the photo).
Step 5
When the potatoes are golden brown, transfer them to the pot with the stewed meat, add salt, pepper, and garlic passed through a garlic press or finely chopped.
Step 6
Gently mix and simmer the potatoes with the meat until done (about 8 minutes).
