- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Spices - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - a pinch
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - a knife tip
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the carrot on a coarse grater, chop the onion, and sauté them together in oil until golden brown.
Step 2
Add a tablespoon of flour, stir. Pour in the water, add the paste, bay leaf, pepper, sugar, and salt, and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Cut the beef into wide pieces, lightly pound it, then cut into strips, season with salt and pepper, and lightly fry the pieces in oil in a separate pan.
Step 4
Add the fried meat to the sauce, simmer for 30–40 minutes on low heat. Add the chopped parsley 5 minutes before the end of cooking.
