Description
I use a pressure cooker to cook the tripe because it's faster, and if you don't have a pressure cooker, you can simply boil it in a pot, which will require more water and time.
Ingredients
- Beef Tri-Tip - 35.3 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 21.2 oz
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Ground coriander - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, rinse the beef tripe and cut it into 3x3 cm pieces. Place the tripe in the pressure cooker, add salt, cover with water (2 fingers above the tripe), and cook for about 1 hour.
Step 2
Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and onion, cut the potatoes into strips, and slice the onion into half-rings.
Step 3
When the tripe is ready, transfer it to a skillet with heated vegetable oil, add coriander and ground black pepper, and fry until the liquid evaporates.
Step 4
Then add the potatoes and fry until partially cooked, season with salt to taste, add the onion, and fry for another 5–7 minutes.
