Beef with Chili, Bean Sprouts, Red Onion, and Lime
Ingredients
- Peanut Sprouts - 5.3 oz
- Udon Noodles - 8.8 oz
- Yakiniku sauce - to taste
- Veal Tenderloin - 12.3 oz
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Sweet Chili Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Scallions - 4 stalks
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Lime - 1 piece
- Spanish onions - ½ head
- Cilantro - 6 stalks
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the bean sprouts in boiling water for 10 seconds. Drain, reserving the water, and rinse under cold water. Cook the noodles in the reserved boiling water for 2-3 minutes until soft. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Step 2
Heat a grill pan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until it starts to smoke. Brush the meat with vegetable oil and grill for 2 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Transfer to a plate and brush with teriyaki sauce, cover with foil, and keep warm for 3-4 minutes. Then slice diagonally into thin pieces.
Step 3
Divide the noodles between 2 bowls. Heat the broth and add the chili sauce. Pour over the noodles. Top with the meat, bean sprouts, and sprinkle with green onion, thinly sliced chili, red onion, and cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
