Ingredients
- Beef - 2 lbs
- Turnips - 4 pieces
- Shimeji mushrooms - 7.1 oz
- Kiwi - 2 pieces
- Spanish onions - 5 pieces
- Scallions - 3.5 oz
- Pistachios - 3.5 oz
- Sugar - 17.6 oz
- Soy Sauce - 3 fl oz
- Sesame Oil - 1 fl oz
- Toasted Sesame - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 heads
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
- Vodka - 1 fl oz
- Daikon - 14.1 oz
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the beef into thin rectangular pieces and place them in a container.
Step 2
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and cut the daikon radish into thin strips.
Step 3
Chop the onions in a blender, and finely chop the green onions, ginger, and garlic. Place everything in a separate container, add soy sauce (preferably to taste), and sesame oil.
Step 4
Add sugar to the vegetable mixture (you can reduce the amount if desired, but Koreans prefer a slightly sweet taste in the meat), pepper, sesame seeds, vodka, mushrooms, and kiwis cut into thin slices.
Step 5
Mix the vegetables and add the beef.
Step 6
Allow the meat to marinate, then place it in a skillet and simmer until cooked.
