Belarusian Potato Babka
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 10 pieces
- Pork Mince - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 3 heads
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes, grate them on a medium grater along with one onion, add flour and salt.
Step 2
Finely chop the remaining onion and sauté it with the minced meat in vegetable oil until golden brown, then mix with the potato mixture.
Step 3
Grease a deep frying pan or baking dish with oil (you can also cook in pots), place the future babka in it and bake in the oven for about 40-50 minutes at a temperature of 356°F. Serve hot with sour cream or milk.
