Ingredients
- Pork fat - 4 tablespoons
- Onion - 3 heads
- Carrot - 2 pieces
- Celery stalk - 2 pieces
- Lean Beef - 35.3 oz
- Red Grape Juice - 8 fl oz
- Tomato Puree - 8 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Green Tagliatelle Pasta - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat the pork lard in a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat. Chop the onion, carrot, and celery. Add to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are soft.
Step 2
Increase the heat, add the ground beef, and cook, stirring, for about 8 minutes. Then pour in the wine and continue cooking until the wine evaporates. Add the tomato puree, 360 ml of water, and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the sauce thickens.
Step 3
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Serve the cooked pasta on plates, add the sauce, and serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
