Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry - 26.5 oz
  • Baking Tomatoes - 21.2 oz
  • Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
  • Shallot - 3 pieces
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Olive Oil - to taste
  • Italian chopped parsley - 0.1 oz
  • Melted Cheese - 8.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Crush, peel, and chop the garlic. Peel and finely chop the shallots. In a large heavy-bottomed skillet, sauté the shallots and garlic in olive oil for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Add the ground beef, sauté over medium heat, breaking up clumps, until the meat changes color.

Step 3

Add the Italian herbs, salt, and tomatoes with their juice, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer, stirring for 15 minutes. The sauce should thicken. Remove the skillet from the heat. Preheat the oven to 392°F.

Step 4

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, grease it with oil, and roll out the pastry into thin layers. Spread the sauce evenly over the surface, sprinkle with mozzarella, and carefully roll each layer into a log. Pinch the seam and place the log seam side down.

Step 5

Using a sharp thin knife, cut each log into 2 cm thick slices. Arrange the slices flat side down on the baking sheet, spaced apart.

Step 6

Bake in the oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Before serving, drizzle each mini pizza with olive oil.
