Ingredients

  • Beef - 28.2 oz
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Bay leaf - 7 pieces
  • Green peppercorns - to taste
  • Beer - 10 fl oz
  • Rye Bread - 1 piece
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon Mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cut the meat and place it in a pot for braising, adding a little water. Chop the onion, sauté it lightly, and add it to the meat. Add crushed garlic, bay leaf, and whole peppercorns. Pour in dark beer and simmer on low heat for about an hour.

Step 2

When the meat is almost done, place a slice of crustless bread generously spread with mustard into the pot along with sugar. Simmer until the bread dissolves into the sauce. Finally, season to taste.
