Ingredients
- Chicken Liver - 17.6 oz
- Pitted Wild Apricots - 7.1 oz
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Basil - 1.8 oz
- Spanish onions - 1 head
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the chicken liver in a pot, cover with water so that it is two fingers above the liver. Add salt. When the water boils, drain it.
Step 2
Meanwhile, rinse the prunes and cut them into equal pieces (in half).
Step 3
Chop the onion, garlic, and basil (the amount in the recipe is approximate; add to taste). Grind the black peppercorns.
Step 4
In the pot with the liver, add the prunes, fill with water halfway, and add salt. When everything boils, add the bay leaves, onion, garlic, basil, and pepper. Braise until cooked.
