Ingredients
- Onion - 1 head
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Pork Blood - 31.7 oz
- Celery stalk - 1 piece
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Garlic - 8 cloves
- Red Grape Juice - 3 cups
- Bouquet Garni - 1 bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Campbell's Beef Broth - 1½ cups
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and sauté the diced pork until browned, adding more oil if necessary. Transfer the meat to a plate.
Step 2
In the skillet, add the finely chopped onion, carrot, celery, and minced garlic. Sauté until golden, adding the remaining oil if necessary.
Step 3
Pour the wine into the skillet, add the bouquet garni, salt, and pepper. Then add the meat and simmer on low heat for 1 hour, then pour in the broth, increase the heat, and cook for another 30 minutes. Transfer the meat to a plate and keep warm. Allow the sauce to reduce until thick. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, then return the meat to the skillet for 1-2 minutes.
