- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Jam - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons

Sauté the onion and carrot in sunflower oil until golden, then add the sauerkraut, black currant jam, cloves, and bay leaves.
Step 2
Simmer for 3 minutes, then add water to the pan.
Step 3
Stir and simmer covered for another 20 minutes.
