Ingredients
- Basmati Brown Rice - 7.1 oz
- Canola Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger - 3.5 oz
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Green Onion - 1 bunch
- Mushrooms - 5.3 oz
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Fresh Red Pepper - 1 piece
- Chicken Eggs - 3 pieces
- Chopped Cilantro (Coriander) - ¼ cup
- Soy Sauce - 2 teaspoons
- Sesame Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Chili Pepper - 2 tablespoons
- Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the rice according to the instructions.
Step 2
Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a large skillet or wok.
Step 3
Add ginger and garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add the vegetables and stir-fry on high heat for 3-4 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, mix the eggs with cilantro and seasoning. Heat a small non-stick skillet with the remaining oil. Crack the eggs, stir, and fry on both sides until cooked. Then cut into strips.
Step 5
Add the drained cooked rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili pepper to the vegetables. Mix well.
Step 6
Serve on plates and top with the omelette, a few cilantro leaves, and sesame seeds.
