Ingredients
- Brussels Sprouts - 17.6 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
- Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Paprika - to taste
- Herbes de Provence - to taste
- Water - 5 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Blanch the Brussels sprouts in boiling salted water for 3–5 minutes, then place them in ice water to preserve the color, draining after 2 minutes.
Step 2
Slice the garlic into thin pieces.
Step 3
Dice the carrot into small cubes.
Step 4
In a bowl, mix the tomato paste and sour cream. Add salt to taste.
Step 5
Add herbs de Provence to taste.
Step 6
Add 0.5 teaspoon of paprika.
Step 7
Add ground black pepper to taste.
Step 8
Pour in 150 ml of water and mix the sauce until smooth.
Step 9
In a baking dish, combine the Brussels sprouts, diced carrots, and minced garlic.
Step 10
Pour the tomato sauce over the vegetables.
Step 11
Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 356°F.
Step 12
The dish can be served either on its own or as a side dish.
