Ingredients
- Bavette Pasta - 10.6 oz
- Olive Oil - 2 fl oz
- Breadcrumbs - 1.8 oz
- Chili Flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Horseradish Leaves - 0.4 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Thyme - 0.5 oz
- Sun-Dried Tomatoes - 1.8 oz
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling salted water according to the package instructions, then drain, reserving a full cup of starchy cooking water.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat along with the breadcrumbs and chili flakes.
Step 3
Peel and finely grate the horseradish, then sauté for 5 minutes, stirring regularly. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
Step 4
Heat the skillet over medium heat with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Peel, finely chop, and add the garlic, shred the thyme leaves, then chop the sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for just 1 minute.
Step 5
Add the drained pasta, splashing in a little of the cooking water if needed. Season to taste, plate onto warm dishes, drizzle lightly with extra virgin olive oil, and generously sprinkle with the prepared topping.
