  • Buckwheat Groats - 1 cup
  • Beef - 10.6 oz
  • Onion - 1 head
  • Butter - 1.8 oz
  • Egg white - 2 pieces
  • Hard Cheese - 1.8 oz
  • Dill - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Rinse the beef, boil it, and pass it through a meat grinder.

Step 2

Sort the buckwheat, rinse it, pour in 2.5 cups of water, bring to a boil over high heat, reduce the heat, and cook on low heat until the water is absorbed by the grains.

Step 3

Transfer the porridge to a clay pot, place it in a preheated oven, and cook until done.

Step 4

Peel the onion, wash it, finely chop it, and sauté in a small amount of melted butter.

Step 5

Mix the meat with the onion and buckwheat porridge, season with salt and pepper, add the remaining butter, and mix thoroughly.

Step 6

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 7

Place the prepared buckwheat porridge in a saucepan, pour in the egg, sprinkle with grated cheese, and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

Step 8

Before serving, garnish the casserole with finely chopped dill.
