- Buckwheat Groats - 2½ cups
- Bacon - 5.3 oz
- Onion - 3 heads

Sort the buckwheat, rinse it, place it in an aluminum pot, pour in 3.5 cups of water, and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook for 5–7 minutes.

Place the pot with the porridge in a preheated oven for 15–20 minutes.
Step 3
Peel the onion, wash it, and cut it into thin rings.
Step 4
Cut the bacon into thin strips, place it in a heavy-bottomed skillet, lightly fry it, add the onion, and sauté while stirring for 2–3 minutes.
Step 5
Season the cooked porridge with salt and pepper, and mix it with the onion and bacon.
