- Buckwheat Groats - 1½ cups
- Onion - 2 heads
- Cucumbers - 2 pieces
- Butter - 2.6 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste

Step 1
Sort the buckwheat, rinse it, pour in 3 cups of water, bring to a boil over high heat with the lid on.

Then reduce the heat, add salt, and cook for another 5–7 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer the porridge to a clay pot, place it in a preheated oven, and cook until done.
Step 4
Peel the onion, wash it, slice it into thin half-rings, and fry in melted butter.
Step 5
Wash the cucumbers and grate them on a coarse grater.
Step 6
Add the fried onion and cucumbers to the porridge, season with pepper, and mix thoroughly.
