Description
To make your burger more delicious, you can do the following: when mixing the minced meat, add a tablespoon of liquid smoke along with barbecue sauce — a stunning combination! Use store-bought burger sauce, preferably with liquid smoke; I use 'Astoria' burger sauce. Choose high-quality burger buns; they should not be large, rye, fluffy, or doughy, as a poor bun will ruin your dish! Select good processed cheese, as it can also spoil your dish; I use Hochland for burgers.
Ingredients
- Pork Mince - 7.1 oz
- Hamburger Bun - 2 pieces
- Sweet Red Onion - 1 head
- Tomatoes - 1 piece
- Pickles - 1 piece
- Green Butter - 1 piece
- Sliced Processed Cheese - 2 pieces
- Barbecue sauce - 4 teaspoons
- Port Sauce - 4 teaspoons
- Butter - 0.4 oz
- Safflower Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Spices - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the buns, making the bottom part thicker. You can create a slight indentation in the bottom part of the bun to make the burger more stable.
Step 2
Heat a skillet, add a little butter, and toast the buns until golden brown over medium heat, repeating for each bun.
Step 3
After toasting, spread the bottom part of the bun with the prepared burger sauce or homemade sauce.
Step 4
Place the minced meat in a deep bowl. Add pepper, salt, and a tablespoon of sunflower oil, spices to taste, then mix everything. Grease the working surface with oil or water. Form patties weighing 100 grams each. It’s best to shape the patty with a diameter of 12.5 cm; you can use a patty mold.
Step 5
In a clean skillet, pour a little vegetable oil and place the patty, frying for 1 minute and 45 seconds over medium heat.
Step 6
Flip the patty and fry for another 1 minute and 45 seconds; 30–45 seconds before the end, place a piece of butter on the patty and cover it with a slice of processed cheese, frying for the remaining time.
Step 7
Assemble the burgers; for one burger, you will need: 2 leaves of lettuce, 2–3 slices of tomato, and 5 round slices of pickles. The amount of onion is to taste. Layer the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, patty with cheese, and onion on the bottom part of the bun. Spread two teaspoons of barbecue sauce on the top part of the bun.
Step 8
Cover all the ingredients with the top part of the bun. Complete the assembly of the burgers.
Step 9
Place the burgers in a preheated oven for 2 minutes and 20 seconds at a temperature of 392°F. The most important thing is not to over-dry the burgers.
Step 10
With proper cooking, the buns will become crispy, and the burger will be warm. Enjoy your meal!
